At Tawa Baptist we express our concern for God's world in a number of ways, including supporting the work of local and overseas missions.
Locally we partner with Tawa Salvation Army who distribute food parcels in consultation with budget advice. Donations of food can be left in the foyer. We also have a number of church volunteers doing the work of Religious Education (a.k.a. Bible in Schools or Religion in Life) in most of the local primary schools.

Globally Tawa Baptist provides financial and moral support for two missionary couples and one missionary family working overseas.

A BMF (Baptist Missionary Fellowship) group meets on the second Wednesday of each month to pray for and support overseas missionaries affiliated with the Baptist Missionary Society (Tranzsend).
